Run run as fast as you can......

Run run as fast as you can, here come the Mutant Gingerbread Men

The boys and I decided to do some baking, during the summer holidays. We've made cup cakes and muffins. Then Carol came home with some ready made Ginderbread, all you had to do was roll it flat and cut out the gingerbread men shapes; then stick on two raisins for the eyes and three raisins for the buttons on his tummy.

A simple task or so you would think........

As you can see the boys loved sticking the raisins on best of all and they got a little carried away. What we ended up with looking like pox ridden mutant men from planet Zorb !!!

Batch 1, not so bad.....

But batch 2 !!!

Mr House

At the start of the summer holidays we bought the boys a wooden play house. Thinking (stupidly) that we would have a lovely summer for the boys to be out in the garden. Well that didn't happen did it. We had the shed for about a month before the weather was OK on the weekend for Carol & I to get out in the garden and build the house.

Well eventually we did get the weather and we had the house built. The boys love it and have named it 'Mr House' - The only problem is we haven't had that many days of decent weather for them to play out in the garden and they can't wait to get out there when we do.

Since this photo was taken my Mum kindly bought the boys some camouflage net that goes from the peak of the roof over to the fence to the left and rear of the house, so they have a 'secret tunnel' to run around the left side and rear of the house. They adore the house and spend so much time playing in there when we can get out. Lunch in Mr House is just the best :)

Whilst the boys played Carol was gardening and when she pulled up some shrubs, she had a surprise......

The boys thought it was great, Carol wasn't so pleased :)

Strange boys

Our regular night time check revealed our boys in yet another weird sleeping position

I love the way that Ben (under the bed) has lined all his little cars up neatly
