Forgot to say !

Forgot to mention in the last post, we were all ill again the other week. For the third time since the beginning of December, I got the dreaded norovirus. Not a good week. I will spare you the grizzle details, but lets just say it was spectacular and Carol wasn't happy with me 'redecorating' the brand new ensuite.

Unfortunately Harry then caught it, and was sick three times in the lounge in the space of about an hour. He looked very sorry for himself and said to us "My mouth all fall down"

Which is a pretty good description for a three year old ! - again a prime example of three year old logic for you!

Then Carol got the dreaded lurgy as well, so the ensuite took another battering !

Ben was the only one to escape, although he was off his food and not 100% he wasn't sick or anything. Bless him.

Now we are three

Another eon has passed since I last updated this blog, sorry.

The boys had a great 3rd Birthday and this new era has ushered in a new found sense of confidence in the boys. With each passing week they are talking more and more. Their sentence structure is coming on nicely and there is no stopping them. A prime example happened just the other day.

Carol was reading to Harry and in the book they were looking at was a picture of a Scarecrow. Harry pointed to it and said 'Scarecrow'; now we aren't aware of telling Harry about Scarecrows yet, it just hasn't come up in conversation.

Carol said,"Well done Harry, how did you know that was a Scarecrow"

Harry looked at her as if she was totally mad and said,"I'm three"

You can't really argue with the logic of a three year old !

We had an open house on their birthday and Carols family all came over at different times of the day.

They had lots of lovely presents, Space themed blankets and a rug for their bedroom (once Daddy has decorated it), a play kitchen, jigsaws & shoes, Winnie the Pooh sleep suits and a lovely table and chairs for their playroom, Bob the Builder trucks, plus loads of other things. Spoiled as usual.
