Homo Erectus

We had a busy weekend. My Mum came down and stayed from Friday to Sunday and it was lovely to see her. The boys really enjoyed spending time with her as well.

On Sunday we went to Hiller Gardens, which I think I mentioned here before ? - So I will just leave a hyperlink rather then repeat myself.

Today, Tuesday 9th May. I was sat on the floor in the lounge and Harry turned from the sofa and took two steps towards me and fell into my outstretched arms. More of a plunge / dive then proper walking. But then I held one of his hands and he walked along side me for about 3 feet before his knees buckled !

Ben has really taken to a little truck my sister has passed down to us. He pushes this cart along at quite a speed and he now spots obstacles in his path and turns the cart to avoid them. What he really needs is a nice flat surface somewhere where he can walk/push this cart for a long distance.

I am sure it won't be long now before they are both walking. But who will be first ?

I'll try and get Carol to take some pictures of me and Harry 'walking' and post them soon. Bye for now.
