Fun & Games

Well Monday was fun !
My first solo day as a stay at home Dad went well to start off with. Luckily either Ben or Harry were asleep whilst I was feeding the other so there was no impatient screaming for food. Lunchtime came and went, Harry even tried to help with the operating of the spoon (see picture below). Then we had playtime and I had a lovely time with Ben whilst Harry was napping. Ben was all smiles and having a really good wiggle about on the play mat. I laid beside him and we played the eskimo nose game that he likes. It was a really special time, when he looked lovingly into my eyes as I snuggled up to him and he gave me a big grin and promptly puked in my face...what a little charmer.

That really signalled what was to come for the rest of the day, At the mid afternoon Harry decided for no reason at all that he was going to have a screaming fit. He was not a happy bunny. I went through all the usual stuff to check that normally causes babies to cry, it was none of those. Basically he was having a right old cry, because he could. The next feed time was stressful as both Harry & Ben were awake and both wanted feeding at the sametime. Boy can they scream when they get going, all very stressful.

Tuesday and the teddy bears picnic went well, but I will write about that later as the boys are complaining and want attention, so I better go and see to them
